My PURPOSE
To be in service of arts & culture, and to help translate artistic intentions to audiences anywhere.
After graduating from Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City with an AAS degree in Audio Technology, I am now based out of Nashville, TN, where I am pursuing a full time music production career centered around Live Sound Engineering.
About Me

About ME
I am an aspiring Live Sound Engineer in the early stages of my career development. My current dreams and aspirations are to be a full time and touring technician for live events and live music production for years to come. I have many other hobbies, goals, interests, and plans for my future. I plan to make a transition into working at bustling theater-sized venues, tracking & producing music inside studio settings, working with time-based & visually captured media, and owning my own production company.
My current interests and skills other than specifically the “sound” part of live sound engineering (for industry-based work), also include controlling dynamic lighting, video streaming, and footage capture.
I am also able to personally facilitate post-production output from inside of DAWs like Pro Tools, as well as from inside of video editing and image editing software (All of the site’s visual media is by me).

Services Guide:
Q & A
What else do you offer besides your time & labor?
I always bring a quiet focus, my full attention, and my passion with me for whenever I’m getting in on a show day. I recognize that I am in a people-first industry, and put calm communication and mutual understanding at the forefront of what I’m there to do.
What gear are you able to provide?
I currently only have a small pool of my own personal gear I am comfortable bringing to productions. I cannot provide any PA or lighting equipment for a given production. For example, inside my case, I have a small collection of industry standard microphones, monitoring headphones, and an iPad for mixing wirelessly*. Any items that are essential to the production and are not provided by the production that I myself have to bring, will be rented to the recipient and billed within an itemized invoice.
* I do not bill for items I bring in my case that simply improve my workflow, increase the value of the work I’m able to do as an engineer, or better use or protect your equipment. Examples of these items include: cable tester, SPL meter, signal generator, multimeter, and spare adapters & batteries.
What is your contracted rate?
I am currently billing at a rate between $35-$50 an hour for time spent on-site. All things considered, such as my experience and the quality of services I’m able to provide, this is the current market rate I’ve come to choose as a person providing skilled labor while being self-employed. The rate is variable to both the type/amount of work I’m contracted to perform, and the duration for which I am needed. Per diem rates are appreciated during longer durations.
How do I reach out if I’m interested in contracting you?
You’re welcome to fill out the form directly at the bottom of the page, or reach out directly via social media. Though, my preferred method of contact is by email. Please reach me at: theoriginalriver@gmail.com
